Our Business: Patient Friendly Vein Care

Though we do still perform traditional operative surgery (ligation and stripping, phlebectomy) for varicose veins, there has been a shift toward less invasive but equally effective varicose vein treatments. Instead of the physical removal of defective veins via skin incisions, modern vein treatments rely on vein closure instead. Closure is acheived by thermal methods such as laser heat (endovenous laser ablation) or radiofrequency (VNUS ClosureFast), by chemicals (endovenous chemical ablation or sclerotherapy), or by combined mechanico-chemical methods (ClariVein).
